About me
I come from a long line of cabinet makers. My Grandfather made the staircase in Liberty of London and taught me from an early age the fundamentals of make beautiful interior furniture.
I use many hand tools, some of which are over a hundred years old and work as well as the day they were made. 'A good tool is never wasted' - many of these tools are on their third generation of user and will be handed down the generations in time to come.
About my woods
The woods I use are primarily Ash, Oak, Mahogany and Walnut which are a delight to work and produce a superb lustre. Grown in FSC approved and sustainably sourced forests and harvested through proper 'chain of custody' processes, this contributes to the health of these woodlands and and preserves them for future generations.
