Displayed in the central cavity of an impressive stairwell, the shade patterns cast an appealing and unique pattern on the ceiling and walls, multiplying the impact of the warm and attractive lights.
​The intention for this project was to seize the attention of guests and create an entrance that is alluring at any time of the day.

My name is Peter Adams
I come from a long line of cabinet makers. My Grandfather made the staircase in Liberty of London and taught me from an early age the fundamentals of make beautiful interior furniture.
​
I use many hand tools, some of which are over a hundred years old and work as well as the day they were made. 'A good tool is never wasted' - many of these tools are on their third generation of user and will be handed down the generations in time to come.​
